FOUR-STROKE ENGINE DESIGN

• World-renowned Honda quality combines proven reliability and superior fuel efficiency, with no oil mixing.

REVERSE EXHAUST RELIEF

• Additional exhaust relief above the cavitation plate allows the prop to run in clean, exhaustfree water, producing more thrust.

DISPLACEMENT

• At 350cc the 15HP large displacement coupled with the long-stroke design provides optimum torque throughout the rpm range.

LIGHTWEIGHT DESIGN

• The BF15 is very lightweight, allowing easy transport and convenient mounting to the hull.

EASY ONE HAND STARTING

• Working together, a built-in decompression release and Digital CDI system set the ignition timing during start-up. Just 60% of the normal effort is required to pull-start the engine by hand!

PGM IGNITION

• A reliable microprocessor accurately controls ignition timing during start-up and across the entire rpm range, providing optimum overall operation.

HIGH OUTPUT CHARGING

• Largest alternator in its class! 12amp at just 3000rpm maintains the battery charge and keep electronics going, even at trolling speeds.

AUTO START ENRICHMENT

• On electric start models, automatically adjusts the airfuel mixture for quick, easy starting and warm-up.

3 STAGE CARBURETION

• While conventional two-circuit carburetors go directly from a lean mixture at idle to a rich setting at full throttle, the BF15 adds a third middle stage for better economy and smoother, stronger operation.

OVERHEAT MODE

• Protects the engine from severe damage due to low oil and overheating by automatically reducing RPM.

CORROSION PROTECTION SYSTEM

• A patented 'double sealed' multi-layered paint process. Sacrificial anodes and stainless steel technology, along with waterproof connectors, all enhance corrosion protection.

LONGER TILLER HANDLE

• The BF15 has a convenient longer tiller handle for increased control and reduced steering effort. The extended handle is made of a new lightweight composite for increased durability and weight reduction.

UP FRONT TILLER CONTROLS

• The convenient Forward-Mount Shift Lever allows fingertip shifting. Twist Grip Throttle and Tensioner allows for superior throttle friction control, minimising driver fatigue.

EZ STEER FRICTION CONTROL

• Unique lever design allows operator to precisely adjust steering tension for improved control and comfort.

SHALLOW WATER DRIVE

• On manual models allows you to run in shallow water and greatly reduces the risk of engine damage.

POSITIVE LUBRICATION

• A crankshaft-driven, automotive-style trochoid oil pump ensures critical engine component long-term durability.

GAS ASSIST TILT

• Gas Assist function makes it easy to tilt the engine for running in shallow water, or raise it completely out of the water for protection.
